JDC World Cup & World Championship Qualifiers

The 2019 Junior Darts Corporation World Cup & World Championship will take place on the island of Gibraltar in September 2019.

I am delighted to announce that Ireland have been granted 8 places for these fantastic events.

Unlike in 2018 we will not be hosting regional qualifiers but instead the top 8 Irish players on the JDC Academy Order Of Merit will be representing Ireland at both the World Cup & The World Championship.

The top 4 players will be Team Ireland (1) while players 5 - 8 will be Team Ireland (2)

There will also be a European Open on the same weekend that any player can enter...so a full weekend of darts beckons you.

In 2018 JDC Ireland finished runner up in The World cup, Runner up in The European Open & Semi Finalist in The World Championship with 2 players pocketing a nice little prize fund of £1150 Sterling between them.

We are hoping to go that much further in 2019 and bring the silverware home as my quest to find the first ever Darts World Champion from Ireland is still on course.
